Once you have learned that you have an illness like cancer or heart disease, it can be hard on you mentally and emotionally. At this time, you want to take control of your disease. When you feel like giving up, you only allow the disease to take control of your life. Remember you have people who care about you, and when you give up you give up on them too.

How you can help you live through healthy aging:
The first thing you have to do is to accept the fact that you are sick. This can be hard for you but if you are mentally able, you have to do this. Once you accepted it is easier to move ahead and take the next step. Acceptance will help you to better understand your disease. Remember, you are not the disease the illnesses is something that is reducing your abilities to function healthy in life. Still, you can function healthy by taking necessary actions.

You can get the information off the Internet if you would like to learn more about your condition. Learning will help you by allowing you to understand your disease. In fact, learning will help you to find interventions, preventions, and perhaps cures for your disease. You can talk with your doctor as well. Learn what you can from your family doctor. Once you have accepted what you have and have learned about it then you can move on to the next step. Which is to, to live your life to the fullest? Do what you can do while you can, go see places that you would not normally.

How will my disease affect me emotionally and mentally?
It depends on the disease, but most illnesses we can safely tell you causes depression. You may feel like being alone. At times, you will endure mood swings and not feel like having anyone near you. You may feel hopeless.

How would I get a second opinion?
Getting a second opinion is always important if you’ve been diagnosed with any disease. You can start with talking to your family doctor and see what he/she may think. Although a second opinion is good for you to have if your not feeling comfortable, you want to continue seeking advice. It is in your best interest to find a qualified doctor to give you a second opinion. Sadly, you may have to visit a few doctors to find one that makes you feel comfortable.

What can I do to help myself?
We all have the power to help ourselves. We can take action by eating right. We can improve health by taking vitamins and supplements intended to help fight disease and make you stronger. You want to socialize and avoid isolating you. Be social and don’t stay in your room crying to yourself. Doctors persistently ask their patients to express their feelings. Expressing your feelings is helping you to fight for healthy aging.

Make sure you make all your family doctors appointments. You want to stay on your toes when dealing with disease. Visiting your doctor regularly will help you stay in control. When you feel blue, walk. If not outside maybe, you can walk around your house. Walking will help you to stay strong.

You may benefit from participating with a support group of some sort. We all need support; yet having someone that understands your disease makes better friendship. At meetings, you can vent your emotions. What a wonderful way to follow doctors orders, thus expressing your emotions. You also want to consider friends who will allow you to express your emotions.

If you don’t want to go out and be around your friends then why not get a pet as a friend they can help you though this as well they will walk with you and play with you and be your best friend though all of this.

Lack of activities can prevent you from living healthy. When you do not enjoy activities, you may feel fatigue or find it difficult to sleep at night. When you awake in the morning, you may feel tired until you finally fall asleep. As we, age our body change and we have to make changes to accommodate our lives.

Having a good night sleep makes the mind think more clearly. A good night sleep also boosts your energy while controlling your weight. You can also make decisions with less stress. Sleeping well at night makes our immune system stronger to keep us healthier. Researchers have proved that a good nights sleep is necessary for our health. Researchers have found that lack of sleep reduces the growth hormones in our bodies, since it changes muscles to fat. Sleep overall is most important, yet it stands behind activities. To improve your health, try walking each day.

Walking will help to loosen our muscles, reduces stress and depression along with anxiety. By reliving these things, it will help us to sleep for a longer and deeper period. So, when we wake up in the morning we feel happier and more rested.

When you exercise, you get a good night sleep, which promotes metabolism. Without the right amount of sleep, our bodies crave energy. Our body will release insulin or glucose into the bloodstream, which slows down metabolism. This action causes the body to gain weight, rather than control weight.

When a person feels exhausted, they will feel weak and repressed from enjoying activities. This leads to additional problems. Sleeping right balances out our bodies giving us, more energy leading to more activities that will satisfy our sleep needs.

What to avoid:
To rest proper and feel active you must reduce your intake of caffeine, nicotine, harmful chemicals, such as over-the-counter meds that keep you awake, alcohol and so on. The chemicals and substances will keep you awake. Try to avoid drinking anything after 8 p.m. in the evening. Nicotine should be avoid if possible, yet if you must smoke try to avoid smoking after 8 p.m.

Start a walking program in the morning to help wake you up, while boosting your energy. You will feel better since the joints will feel flexible enough to move freely. In addition, walking will help you burn fat and calories. You’ll notice a big change in how you feel the rest of the day. Start out walking at a slow steady pace for as far as your comfortable. Each day pick up the pace a bit and walk further. Just remember when walking that you want to work up to a steady brisk walk to make you sweat but not out of breath. Take a short walk before and after meals to calm your nerves, and burn calories too, it will give you energy, relieve that stress from the long day and help you sleep.

If you start a walking program for yourself, it is a lot more fun if you have someone to go with you. Talk to that neighbor you don’t know and maybe they’ll walk with you. Just think about it; you’ll be acquainted with someone new, talk about new things will relieve stress and get in you exercise as well. This might help that neighbor too who maybe hasn’t seen or talked to anyone in a couple of days and than they can sleep better at night.

After walking that brisk walk your doing be sure to cool down. When walking at a vigorous pace your heart rate will go up and it needs to be back to normal. Just walk a bit slow and relaxing until you’ve cooled down.

If you can’t go to sleep at night instead of getting up and turning on the TV try pacing around the house. Do some stretching and shake your arms and legs. Even walking around the house can relax you especially when everyone else is in bed and you can relax more.

The aging progression in our bodies is an on going thing each day of our lives. Bringing the clock to a standstill is out of the questions so we need to take care of ourselves on a daily basis. It is a known fact that as we age we need a dietary supplements and vitamins to substitute the declining bodily chemicals and substances.

Dietary supplements are sometimes needed because as we age our diets change and we eat less. Sometimes we eat more. As our skin and digestive system starts to change, so do our vitamin levels. In order to keep these levels up we may need to take a supplement to bring that level up where it belongs to keep us happy and healthy as we age.

Not having the right vitamins can cause cancers and chronic diseases to develop. We all need to understand the vitamins that we need and how they will help keep us stay healthy and safe. In all, we have two different kinds of vitamins, which one is the fat-soluble [A, D, E, K] and the second one is the water-soluble [B, C, P].

The fat-soluble vitamins if taken too much of can turn into a poison toxic. Our bodies produce Vitamin D and K, and the vitamins A and E need to come from our food or a supplement to help prevent cardiac disease and some cancers. Therefore, it is very important that you have the right amount of A, C, and E.

The water-soluble vitamins help the kidneys to rid of our excess waste on a daily basis so it is very important to get the right amount daily. You should consult with your physician to learn which vitamins and supplements are best suited for you.

TIP: CHIRO-KLEENZ is a healthy, natural herb tea that detoxifies and trims the system. It is designed for both men and women. NOTE: This tea will cleanse the body of poisons, yet you should note that the tea would cause cramping, and frequent bowel movement.

As we get older, our diets change and we don’t eat like we should. In addition, the foods we buy sometimes don’t have all or enough vitamins in them. The farmers are putting fertilizer and chemicals to make their crop larger and better and with all these chemicals, it lowers the vitamins that you get from your diet. Not eating the right diet or not enough can cause your vitamin level to drop. Some things you need to know are that Vitamin D is produced from the sun and the older we get the less we are outside, so by taking vitamin D it can help the brittle bones in our body and make them stronger.

You can find B-12 by eating the right lean red meats, chicken and drinking skim milk. Taking Vitamin B-12 and B-6 it helps to reduce heart disease. B-12 will help the red blood cells produce and maintain the nervous system as well too.
Are you not taking vitamins because it is too hard to swallow them?
Some of us as we get older have a hard time swallowing, stay healthy by buying liquid vitamins. If you are not sure what ones come in liquid form ask your doctor and he can help you decide what you need and tell you if they are in liquid form or not. Some pills can’t be cut up or crushed because they lose their strength, so stay healthy and look for the liquid type.

One of the most important things about healthy aging is to have a well balance meal three times a day. Take your medications and vitamin everyday as your doctor has prescribed and enjoy life.

Eating right is the number 1 essential step to maintaining a well-balanced life; our bodies need the right amount of vitamins, nutrients and minerals to work at its best and function optimal for 80 or 90 years.

When we are young and our body is still working without problems, we very easily forget that we everyday is getting a day older and need to watch out for what we are eating and drinking.

I n the school we get a little education of what is necessary to eat to be healthy and active for a long busy life, but it is not very interesting for most young people because of a lot of exciting issues like parties, movies, girl/boy-friends education and finding out who you are.

This means that young people use a lot of years making bad eating and drinking habits, which can be very difficult to be reed of again

Food nourishment is paramount to stamina. “You are what you eat” is a very true statement but to- day`s society of fast food consuming is many times a week, makes it very difficult for the body to function optimal for more than 30 years.

This one of biggest reasons why we are more out of balance than ever both psychical and mental in a still younger age.

Just look at our teenagers and see how many are overweight or in medical cure for anxiety and depression.

Stamina is a conditioning state and requires proper long-term physical and mental work to gain. Psychical conditioning for stamina needs food nourishment (macro-nutrients) and substantial supplementation of essential vitamins, minerals and fatty acids (micro-nutrients), enough water, sleep and exercise, which is not what our youth is known for.

So how do we help our young people grow up as healthy adult who can take good care of them self and their children.

First we must look at our self and make the changes that are necessary in our behaviours, habits and body-structure to gain stamina.

Where can we make some changes?

1. Are we eating breakfast and if, is it healthy?

2. What are we eating before lunch?

3. Do we eat lunch and what kind?

4. How is our blood-glucose and energy level in the afternoon and how do we keep the focus at work?

5. How much coffee and sugared soft drinks do we consume a day?

6. Do we eat dinner in front of the TV and in each our room?

7. What kind of dinner? Slow food or fast food?

8. How many different kind of vegetables and fruits do we eat a day?

9 How much do we sleep a night?

10How much alcohol do we drink a week?

11. How much water do we drink a day?

12. Do we eat healthy or unhealthy snacks?

13. Do we eat any kind of supplements with vitamins and minerals?

14. How about sport and exercise?

15. How much meat vs. seafood do we eat?

16. Do we need any kind of medicine to make the day?

Take this inventory and look at your own lifestyle and decide if it is time for a change?

Answer these questions to “paint “a picture of your body`s condition and what kind of stamina you can assume to have in the future. Are you satisfied and looking forward to growing older?

We get only one body in this life and it is our own responsibility to keep the body in shape and learn our children to do the same.

By eating more protein and spicy food with chili and drinking green tea you can eat and drink yourself to a better metabolism. When you have a good metabolism it is easier for you to lose and keep the weight you want to. But you still need to do some kind of exercise to gain an optimum health and weight.

Below are 10 more tips to lose and keep a healthy weight.

Priority your sleep

Lack of sleep influences the level of hormones that controls your appétit. If you have a bad night sleep, you will eat more the next day.

2. Turn off your TV.

You eat more in front of a TV. At the same time you do not think much about what you are eating because your focus is not at the food. This means there will be a tendency to more and less healthy than it is good for you. Try it and turn off the TV for 3 days to check it out.

3. Relax

When you are stressed hormones in the blood will make your body stock more fat cells as a survival mechanism. Relax by meditating twice a day for 10 min and feel the difference immediately.

4. Eat from smaller plates.

Serve your meals at smaller plates. This will make the portions look bigger and make you think you are full sooner. This is because you cheat yourself to believe you are going through a very big meal.

5. Enjoy chocolate.

Do not make yourself feel guilty because of a piece of chocolate. In small amounts dark chocolate containing 70 % or more cocoa is healthy because of the antioxidants in the cacao-beans. But do not exaggerate.

6. Watch yourself eat.

Set up a mirror near the dinner table. Research has shown that people who eat near a mirror take in 32% less fat food than other people.

7. Play classic music.

Eat your meals to the sound of Mozart or Bach. The music will reduce your speed of eating. When you eat slow, the brain will have time to register the message about you being full before you eat too much.

8. Keep away from carbohydrates in the evening.

You move less in the evening than you do in the daytime. This makes it very wise to avoid carbohydrates after dinner because it will stock as fat if you do not burn it. If you are hungry late at night you may eat some fruit or vegetables instead.

9. Eat till you are full.

Eat till you are full at dinner and leave out the dessert. An extra piece of chicken and vegetables are much better than the dessert with ice cream and chocolate and you will sleep better at night.

10. Find an ally.

It is much more easy and fun to lose weight, if you have somebody to support you and to account for your weight loss to. You will very easily find an ally among friends and family to partner with in the process of losing weight.

If you want to lose weight and think it is too much trouble to both follow a diet and a lot of tips and advice too, just start with these tips and check out the supplement FIT at:

I am sure you are blaming someone for you being overweight, and more than probably that person isn’t you. It is always an external factor that isn’t under our control that is the reason for our excess weight. Unfortunately the truth is that we are always to blame of we are overweight.

The situations in which overweight is due to a medical condition are so rare that they are like a blip on the radar. The majority of overweight people are fat because they choose to be. They know they can lose weight but they aren’t willing to put in the effort and change their life. Change isn’t easy and they know it. So they preferred to stay overweight and pack even more fat instead of getting to work on getting healthy and losing weight.

Some popular choices overweight people use when explaining why they are overweight are: a slow metabolism, bad genes, water retention, thyroid problems and even a mother that force fed them when they were little.

The truth is that most people are overweight because they overeat, eat only junk food and don’t exercise. Those are the real reasons why most obese people are overweight. The good news is that you are in full control of each and every of those obesity causing factors. You choose daily what food you put in your mouth, how much you eat and if you exercise or not. No one else can make those choices for you.

You have no reason to put the blame on something that happened in your past as long as you are doing it in the present. Your metabolism isn’t slow, you don’t have fat genes and you can’t retain 20 pound of excess water. It is all about the bad eating habits and the unhealthy lifestyle you indulge in. Change them and you won’t be fat ever again. I promise you that.

Exercise and healthy food will always be the number 1 solution if you want to lose weight or just live a healthy life. But it can be very difficult to keep yourself up on the weight loss goal and count calories in everything you eat to figure out if it is okay.

Here are 10 simple weight loss tips to make it easier for you to keep up the good work.

1.Do not leave out any meals.

You do not lose weight by leaving out meals and starve yourself. When you do not eat any food a half day, you will burn less calories and that is exactly not what you wish for.

Eat 5-6 meals between morning and late night every day to make sure your body has something to work with.

2.Straighten your back

Do not sit a chair like a bag of beans when you eat. That will slow your feeling of being full. Instead straighten your back and swallow your food properly to the stomach without problems.

3.Take your time.

It takes about 20 minutes from the stomach is full before the brain registers that you are full. Do not eat more food than you think your stomach can contain.

4.Dress for dinner

It is a very bad idea to wear tracksuit at dinner. The stomach will spill out automatically when you eat. Keep on your jeans to feel when you have had enough to eat – even when you are home alone.

5.Enjoy the sun.

If you have a tendency to eat extra when you are in a bad mood, try to get some more sun and light. Electric light and sunlight activates the part of your brain that influences your mood. Go for a long walk in the sun when you are feeling sad and want to eat comfort food.

6. Eat nuts.

Eat nuts instead of candy and chocolate, when you feel for something extra. It is truth that nuts contain fat but not even close to how much fat there is in all the sugared snacks you find at the grocery shelf.

7. Spice up your life.

Let spices like turmeric, cayenne pepper, chili, ginger and garlic be added to your daily meals. The spices turn on your metabolism and helps you burn more fat.

Tests shows that people who eat spicy food burns about 45 calories more per meal than people who do not eat spicy food.

8. Soup as starter

Cook a light soup to start the meal. It satisfy you a little and makes you eat less of the main course.

9. Drink water.

Drink 2 glasses of water ½ hour before a main meal and you will feel full faster.

10. Smile to the world.

If you laugh 15 min, you will burn 40 calories a day and that makes up pretty fast in a week, a month and year. Besides that is the most fun way to lose weight.

If you feel it is not easy for you to follow a diet plan or leave out the steak then these 10 tips can help you get on the right track of losing weight without too much suffering.

If you want to try a new kind of weight loss product that needs no special diet to follow check out

Who hasn`t try to lose weight, maybe several times, without reaching the goal?

Why do weight-loss programs continue to show up in magazines, at the pharmacy, in TV and on the internet?

Do you know the reason? I do!!

Obviously a lot of the programs is okay and some people do lose weight but most who starts a diet doesn`t succeed.

People are often told “You just have to eat the powder, pills or follow these recipes to lose a lot of weight”

Reduce of calories is the first condition for gaining weight-lost. In most cases you will follow the program, reach a certain level and the process stops for a while.

This first critical point and most dieters think “.This is okay and I can continue with another program at another time. Then they start to eat as usual and take on the weight they have just lost. This pattern often repeats and sometimes people give up on their goal to reduce weight, and live in quiet desperation for the rest of their life.

The fact that dieters often fail one time after another is a very good reason for different companies and consultants to develop new weight-lost techniques because the market will never be exhausted.

“The missing link” or “The biggest mistake” is the mental part of the weight-lost, which the dieters very rare are aware of.

When you want to lose weight, you have to set a goal and be very serious and consistent about it to succeed. If you only hope and wish to lose ex 25 pounds, it is not enough for your mind and brain to help your body.

You need to have a “burning desire” to reach your goal and to keep it.

When you have set your goal for sure, make it a burning desire and visualize the picture of the “new you”. Do it at least 2 times a day. Close your eyes and see for your inner-sight a movie where you do all the things an ideal weight make it possible for you to do. You must remember to feel what it would be like to do the things you see while you see the movie because the brain cannot distinguish between reality and the desire which will help your body very much in the process.

Just close your eyes and see yourself ex play football with your children and at the same time feel the joy of doing it. Another case can be to look nice in bathing-suit and have enough self-esteem to go to the beach, then try and feel the happiness and fun you will have by the sea.

You have to use the power of your mind and thoughts to make things happen, because those “tools” are much more power full than you can dream of. These facts are very under-estimated and can be the most important tools you can ever use.
